Blood was originaly written to be album 3's opening track, but became an extention track to the 'In love and silent screams' album which was only 7 tracks at the time. In order to make it one step further to becoming a 10 track album. This track was heavily visualised with a lazer light stage show, which will now acompany Luna live..
This story begins with a burnt out individual, emotional destroyed and raped of all sense of feeling, by situation from the past.
Who was forced to lie to those he loved, just to buy some peace time.
Problem was, It did stop there.....
The Chorus is a flash back to a moment in time, when all pain and hardship was stopped by the same addiction that was promised never to be repeated.
Verse 2 shows the inner searchers that he went through, to work out what went wrong and why? and to dwell on what would have happened if different disicions were made and acted upon. Remembering passed incidents that one should try and forget, perhaps in an attempt to relive and change. The next section demonstrates a dream he had, where he saw the abuser die and had an oportunity to save them, but choose not to. When awoken, he is left scared by what he did and yet justified inside to always know, it was the right path, with tears or not.
