This song was written about a great fetish club that I used to go too. Sadly it doesn't exist anymore, but it was great fun. Everyone was accepted for who they were, no questions asked. I have never felt anything so free in my whole life, and tried to capture it in this song. If society was like that club, the world would be a very different place indeed :)
There is also a token wink to the 'Rocky Horror show' in it beauty and freedom of expression. There are also elements of kinship, protection and support to those people with societally disapproving coping systems ;) and an attempt to give them a free place to exist and express, without judgement.
Wouldn't it be amazing if everyone in the world put down these predetermined prejudices and just accepted everyone for being themselves. I wonder if we can do this? could the world do that?
Have you ever been in such and amazingly accepting environment?
I would love to know of your experiences.
Love ya - Luna x
lyrics
Echo Chamber
V1
Kill the lights in the echo chamber,
Watch the candles flicker in flame,
Coal eyes kiss this dark behaviour,
See the sinners dance the killers away.
CH
Echo....In the echo chamber,
Echo....A place to be free,
Echo....In the echo chamber,
Echo....A place to be me.
V2
See the skeletons dance with saviours,
Feel the bodies move and twist in the rain,
I know the death on the streets can cave ya,
We have no rules, just leather and pain.
V3
Your broken skin here, will not phase us,
No more smoke screen, hiding your pain,
Be yourself now, and break the rules,
Come dance, bring your demons to play.

Casa Luna is so dreamy and feels like entering a different world... I had gotten into Lycia's older stuff first, so when I discovered that they had new releases that were just as beautiful, I was so happy, it just gets better :-) strawberryspacecraft
